Arista maintains a fully equipped Physical Parameter Testing Laboratory for the measurement of:

  • Weight, circumference, resistance-to-draw (RTD), paper porosity and ignition propensity.
  • Latest equipment from Cerulean and Borgwaldt
  • Experience in test measurement to comply with regulatory requirements for New York, Minnesota, Massachusetts and others.
  • "Hoffman" analytes

Arista uses newly developed, industry recognized and regulatory approved methodology to evaluate the complete list of smoke constituents.

  • LC/MS/MS methods yield superior turnaround time with a superior degree of selectivity and sensitivity.
  • GC&LC/MS methods allow analysis and method development for complete families of analytes
  • HPLC and other separation techniques selectively discriminate special analytes
  • Colorimetric analyses provide high throughput with low variability due to technology shared from clinical chemistry
  • Quality Assurance Testing

Arista's full range of smoking capabilities utilizing standardized smoking machines and specially developed apparatus ensure routine tests are accurately completed to industry standards.
